But today I really want to just focus on cheap designer shops, easily accessible by Tube. Places where you can buy only the best discounted designer brands in London. British fashion brands like Burberry, French bits from Dior, and Italian brandnames like Balenciaga or Gucci. And all of that, for much cheaper.

Today is all about cheap designer clothes. Of course, there are lots of places to go designer charity shopping in London. Some, like the Oxfam shops, offer really great cheap designer clothes. Especially if you go around posh areas like Notting Hill, Primrose Hill, Chelsea, or Hampstead houses. But, no charity shops today.

Today, I will not be talking about the London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park. Nor about Bicester Village, nor about the Braintree Village. I want to keep this as close to Central London as possible. I don’t think there is one person on the planet who doesn’t like going to an outlet village in London. Who doesn’t like shopping for cheap designer clothes? After all, if you can get Burberry, Moschino, Nike, or Stone Island on a budget, why shouldn’t you do so? So, we all know just how crazy I am about fine dining in London. I love high end brands and shopping streets.

But I have this part of me who loves cheap shopping in London. I love going to TK Maxx, for instance, or visiting shopping outlets in London. And ending up broke after buying tons of cheap candle brands, cheap makeup, and discounted designer clothes.

From TK Maxx to Renascence and Clarks outlet stores, there will be lots of cheap shopping options here. I’m going to be talking about the best spots to get cheap luxury clothes in London today. And not only any cheap designer clothes. I’ll talk about some of the best British fashion brands, Italian, and French pieces. The best, and often once-in-a-lifetime opportunities of showcasing your true style without breaking the bank. 

Choice Shops London

Shopping in London is awesome. Partly because some of the best British fashion brands give you the freedom to really express yourself. And when it’s cheap, it’s even better. The first of the outlet shops in London I want to mention in this guide is Choice stores. There are a few Choice shops in London that sell cheap, discounted shoes to fashion and designer accessories. When we talk about shopping outlets in London, we usually think about women’s clothes. Yet, at this brand outlet, you can have cheap designer brands for women, men, and even kids. After all, why shouldn’t we all be able to get cheap stylish clothes from high-end brands, right?

So, about Choice designer outlets in London. Choice is present in shopping malls in London, including Westfield Stratford in East London and Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. Until not too long ago, MatchesFashion.com brand outlet was also available in Hackney, on Hackney Walk. I’ll talk about Hackney Walk later in this guide to the best cheap designer shops in London, so keep reading. The presence of two Matchesfashion.com brand outlets in this outlet village was really cool. However, the Hackney Walk MatchesFashion.com shops have closed there. But don’t you worry.

If you’ve already been shopping for cheap luxury brands on that website, good. You’re going to be more than satisfied when you visit the other MatchesFashion.com shops in London. There are three other designer outlets in London, in Marylebone, Wimbledon, and at 5 Carlos Place in Mayfair. There, you have plenty of choices for cheap designer clothes. Start with a visit to the Fashion section, where you’ll see some amazing Yohji Yamamoto and Saint Laurent designs. Then, you can actually bag them for much cheaper at Renascence. Finish with a well-deserved lunch at the best restaurants in Knightsbridge or Mayfair. Then, go back to Central London with the feeling that you’ve just gotten cheap designer clothes to brag about.

Back when I worked in a fine dining restaurant at The Shard, Clarks shoes was the only British fashion brand I was recommended. I had to work on heels, and comfort was my only priority. And that’s where Clarks outlet shops came in. I went and bought a few pairs on clearance. And those were the most comfortable shoes I’ve been given to wear in my life.

Paul Smith Sale Shop

By now, we know for a fact that you can get very cheap designer clothes in charity shops in London. That is if you go to posh areas like the mindblowing Hampstead Heath, Chelsea, South Kensington, or Knightsbridge. If your man wants to find discounted designer shops, chances are he won’t have the patience for charity and thrift shops. Am I right? And that’s where the Paul Smith sale shop in Mayfair comes into play. 

Few people know about the Paul Smith designer outlet. I mean, that makes more amazing discounted clothes for the men in our lives. Located on Avery Row, Paul Smith sale shop tickles Michelin star restaurants while providing a budget shopping experience in London. Everything from cheap suits to shirts for work and every day, and affordable luxury knitwear is on sale at Paul Smith. And right in the heart of London! Who needs to go to outlet villages when you’re got Paul Smith Sale Shop right there?

To snatch this big designer brand at a more affordable price, the Mayfair shop is made for you. Since it’s so close to Oxford Circus, you can even make this part of a shopping day in London before, why not, going to eat delicious Asian food in Chinatown later on. Discounted classic suits and timeless coats? Yes, please.

Icon Outlet Greenwich: Cheap Designer Brands

Do I love cheap fashion shops in London? Do I love something more than the Designer Outlet in Wembley? The answer to both questions is yes. And that would be Icon Outlet, in Greenwich. Located at The O2 in South East London, where you can spot a view of the river, the Icon Outlet features many high end boutiques.

Just across the Thames river, there’s also the Canary Wharf shopping center. On top of it, one of the most secret gardens in London on Crossrail Place. I love all that area in London. The fact that the best outlet mall ever is located there just satisfies me to the core. In the Icon Outlet Greenwich, you’ll find plenty of cheap designer clothes, from Hugo Boss to Guess, Ted Baker, and Hackett. One of my favorite designer handbags brands is Kurt Keiger, and guess what? You can also get cheap Kurt Geiger handbags there. 

I remember the first time I visited this outlet mall – there is a cheap Yankee Candle shop inside. I bought so many candles that I can’t even remember how I carried all of them home that day. Yankee Candle shops in London just make me dreamy. I just needed to bring them all back with me like my babies. The prospect of getting cheap Yankee Candles had gotten over me, I guess. So, what if I told you that you can get cheap Nike clothes in London? Yup, that’s possible at the Nike Factory Outlet in Hackney Walk, in East London. You can even get the amazing British fashion brand Pringle of Scotland, with its soft cashmere clothes, discounted up to 70%. The Hackney Walk outlet village in London is designed for all Londoners who love discounted premium luxury brands. 

Located on Morning Lane, it reminds me of the McArthur Glen designer outlets I’ve grown up around within my hometown. I was born and raised in Troyes, France. People come from all walks of Europe to shop for cheap designer brands there. The way the Hackney Walk outlet shops are put together is just a reminder of my childhood. Of spending hours and hours browsing the racks of the Gap outlet, Adidas, Puma, and Zadig & Voltaire. 

Morning Lane in Hackney was designed using former Victorian railway arches, which makes for a bit of history. So there’s this designer brand I adore: Stone Island. Back when I was a full-time fashion makeup artist in London, I worked for a Stone Island photoshoot. That’s when I fell in love with those amazing designer coats. I mean, what’s not to love about them? They’re huge coats with sober, colorful, and even holographic designs. 

So, finding a Stone Island outlet in Hackney Walk is the best thing that could happen to a fashionista. And that’s possible at the Present shop in London. Present London is a multi-brand designer outlet that curates brands like Stone Island, Woolrich, and CP Company. And best believe you should visit Present on Morning Lane to grab super trendy designs on a budget. 

Aquascutum Hackney Walk Designer Outlet

If you pass by (or in) the Burberry designer outlet, nearby is located Aquascutum. That’s another amazing discount store in the Hackney Walk village. Located on Chatham Place, I feel like Aquascutum London is one of the best UK fashion brands. And oh, so underrated. When someone mentions British fashion brands, I imagine cashmere, designer knits, suits, and sharp wool coats straight away. 

After all, British fashion brands are all about luxury and design, aren’t they? They reflect the posh attitude of high end restaurants, with the class of London landmarks. At Aquascutum London, you’ll find only the namesake brand, heavily discounted and perfect for spring and winter buys. With up to 30% off their cashmere and wool designer clothes, you’re ready to luxure out and about in London. And if you play golf, Aquascutum brand outlet also has all you need for the turf.

The Box Factory Outlet Hackney

Ever been looking for designer sample sales in London? Then you should definitely follow The Box in Hackney. It’s located close to Hackney Walk, and easily accessible from stations London Fields and Hackney Central. The Box is a huge venue that rivals all the best designer outlets in London. Why? Because it feels exclusive and luxurious.

I’m saying you should follow The Box on social media as the samples sales in London always take place based on a calendar. This means you can’t just visit this brand outlet in London any day you’d like. And that’s what makes it exciting, that feeling of posh exclusivity. And of knowing you’re about to shop in one of the most out-there yet secret shopping outlets in London.

The Box designer outlet very much reflects the environment in which it’s settled. Hackney, much like Shoreditch, is young and trendy. Arts and fashion lovers are at the core of activities planned in such areas. That’s why the best things to do in London happen there, like neon exhibitions or upside-down houses. The Box in Hackney is curated like a boutique. Aside from designer sample sales, you can even attend fashion shows there. Do come by to discover famous British fashion brands like Liberty London and You Must Create London Stay to fall in love with original designs from Markus Lupfer and Anya Hindmarch. 

Designer Second Hand Clothes London: Dress For Less

Now, now, the best brand outlet in London for new and secondhand designer clothes must be Dress for Less. Located in Islington near Angel, the small shop specializes in both new and cheap, secondhand designer brands. That ranges from brands I particularly love like Issey Miyake and Driss Van Noten. There are also luxury designer brands such as Karl Lagerfeld and Vivienne Westwood. Not only can you get the best British fashion brands at Dress for Less, but other mainstream brands like Replay, Pepe Jeans, and even Stone Island.

Both men and women’s clothes are available in this Islington shop, but the accessories section is also to look out for. Especially if you like collecting cheap designer bags! You’ll definitely find rare luxury pieces you didn’t expect to find at Dress for Less. That’s also the shop to sell designer clothes to, if you wish to do so. 

There are lots of preloved designer shops in the UK, and in London, a plethora. That includes shops like Dress for Less to the best London charity shops in Chelsea or Hampstead. But Dress for Less has this thing, this passion for sustainable fashion and rare pieces. That’s why I would urge you to feel it in their Islington shop. It might not be a proper designer outlet in London. But if you like luxury second hand, that’s the place for you.
