If you’re craving something delicious for breakfast, head over to Scarlett Green. It is with no doubt one of the best places in London for vegan breakfast, and it is super central. Basically, the restaurant is tucked behind the amazing Photographer’s Gallery, around Oxford Street.

Scarlett Green has an impressive selection of hot and cold vegan options including bagels, smoothies, salads, and waffles – plus there’s plenty of space to eat in so you don’t have to rush!

My go-to order is their specialty Nutty Buddy waffle (don’t be put off by how decadent it sounds), which has hazelnut cream, banana, and raspberries. It’s delicious and will honestly make you wonder why you haven’t been there before.

London Vegan Breakfast: The Retreat Kitchen Richmond

The Retreat Kitchen is a vegan cafe in London that has gained great popularity among tourists and locals alike. Located in Richmond, it sets the pace for a chill day. Promise. Walks in Richmond Park are something I love doing. I’ve never seen a place that quiet, aside from Kyoto Garden, maybe.

The menu is classic English breakfast with vegan twists on some favorites like eggs benedict with tofu, an all-day breakfast sandwich with bacon and tomato, and some good old vegan fry-ups for those hung-over days.

The Retreat Kitchen also offers some great specialty teas made by local companies. I don’t know if you know just how crazy I am about tea, especially when it comes from small independent tea brands. Well, one of which might be just what you need to recover from your night out.

Though it’s located just off Brick Lane, Club Mexicana perhaps offers the best vegan breakfast in London. This colorful little eatery offers a menu full of fresh, healthy vegan food made with real ingredients – no substitute meats here.

Don’t leave without trying their vegan breakfast pastry options and Quinoa Avocado Bowl – you won’t regret it! If you need a good dose of vitamin C before heading out on your adventures for the day, order The Green Monster, a smoothie packed with kale and other delicious greens.

Club Mexicana makes every customer feel at home, and that’s definitely how you want to feel when you go out – vegan restaurant or not. The staff is friendly and quick to offer recommendations from their menu favorites, which include bowls, wraps, and vegan breakfast tacos.

For a fresh twist on Keto vegan breakfast, visit the Gallery Cafe in Bethnal Green. There are plenty of low-carb breakfast recipes there. However, if you don’t really mind carbs, this restaurant offers an array of vegan breakfast options including pancakes, granola, oatmeal, and cereals. The best option in my eyes will always be their delish vegan Full English breakfast though.

There are also several organic teas that you can enjoy with your meal. While it’s not strictly a vegan cafe, there are many menu items you can choose from if you don’t eat animal products. On top of great food, The Gallery Cafe is located right next to renowned art galleries like Tate Britain and offers indoor or outdoor seating.

London Vegan Brunch: Farmacy

If you’re looking for something that feels like brunch, but you want a 100% vegan and gluten free brunch, then Farmacy London is definitely worth checking out. Located in Notting Hill, Farmacy makes everything from scratch using locally sourced ingredients.

By now, you probably know I love Notting Hill – I’ve written about the colorful houses in Notting Hill streets a few days ago. Check out that post if fully colored houses are your jam – you’ll love what you see!

You can enjoy all sorts of breakfast dishes at Farmacy, including vegan eggs benedict and many other fancy options. That’s just one amazing breakfast place for vegans in London.
