That’s why it’s such an amazing thing to indulge in their vegan doughnuts and… brownies.
More than once, I’ve tried the Portia Bakes vegan brownies and they have to be the most decadent brownies in London. I remember receiving them by post as a gift, and I felt like I was tasting paradise on Earth. They’re chewy just what you need, with strong flavors of delicious chocolate, nuts, caramel, and many more fillings and decorations all more delicious than the previous one.

Dum Dum Donuts London can be found at Box Park Shoreditch, one of my favorite places to hang out with friends in London. Box Park, between Bethnal Green, Shoreditch, and Liverpool Street, is a kind of commercial center. I’ve spent amazing moments there, browsing for trendy clothes and eating some amazing Asian food, burgers, and treats from Dum Dum Donuts.
The donuts there are a real treat, freshly made every day with the coolest fillings and decorations. Unique donuts for everyone to enjoy, that’s Dum Dum Donuts’ mission and they’ve been fulfilling it since 1997. And ah, the cronut. I love myself some good ol’ cronut. The blend of donuts and croissants is really something different, and Dum Dum always strives to push the boundaries of what is trending in the donut world. Something out of this world.

Borough 22 is one of the vegan donuts underdogs in London. If you’re having trouble finding amazing gluten free donuts in London, that’s your solution right there. Founded as a solution for a gluten intolerant, vegan family, Borough 22 has already snatched a Great Taste Award for their amazing donut recipes. Vegan desserts are difficult to make, or so I’ve found when trying to make a few recipes. You need to keep an open mind as the ingredient you usually know are not the ones you’ll taste, even if the vegan dessert looks every bit like a nonvegan cake.
And yet, Borough 22, which now has stockists in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, has made the challenge theirs. Even with a gluten free, vegan dough, the flavor combinations are to die for. Lime, coconut, peanut butter and jam, vanilla glazed, raspberry, chocolate… Vegans and non vegans alike can relish some of the best vegan donuts in London at Borough 22. This truly is an experience of a lifetime, and might very well change your vision of vegan desserts forever.

Krispy Kreme is one of my favorite places to pick up doughnuts in London. To be honest, there are still some miles to be walked on the vegan donut pathway for the company. It’s one of the first bakeries in London I have come across when I first arrived at Victoria Station for the first time a few years ago. Their offer – non-vegan doughnuts – is rich and expanded into chocolate, praline, vanilla, lemon, and other kinds of sweet and tangy options.
At the time of writing, the only option for vegans is vegan glazed donuts. You can shop only one, or you can also enjoy the deal box of 12 or 24 donuts that Krispy Kreme offers. Although it’s not one of the most popular vegan bakeries London has seen so far, the vegan glazed doughnuts are a stunner.
