Halal Buffet in London: 10 Flavorful All You Can Eat Halal Buffets in London

Let me start right there: there are not that many places for a halal buffet in London. Then again, I was born in France, spent 4 years in Paris, two years full-time in London, and a year in Rome. I know what it means to have access to the best halal restaurants in London. Back in France, buffet restaurants focus on Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food with wok dishes, sushi, and dumplings mostly. But there are not that many halal sushi buffet places for instance, or halal Chinese restaurants. Being able to visit the best halal Chinese restaurants is something I’ve experienced only in London. Yet, although the halal buffet offer is quite scarce, I still have dug up the best halal buffet restaurants in London for you.

If you were born in a country like mine where halal food is not predominant, then coming across the best halal buffet in London will certainly amp up your everyday eating game. As a reminder, although I have personally checked that all these buffets in London are halal, I would always call the restaurant in advance to make sure that their offer is indeed completely halal. Or so they can highlight the changes that have recently been made in terms of halal food in their menu.

I know you’re dying to know about the best halal buffet restaurants in London. As such, let’s just dive in and kill the suspense!

Best Halal Buffet London: Aroma Buffet

The first spot for a halal buffet in London I wanted to talk about is Aroma Buffet in West 12 Shopping Centre. I don’t know if you’ve ever been around the Shepherd’s Bush area, but this is one of my favorite areas in London – even if I will forever be an East London girl. Aroma Buffet in Shepherd’s Bush is all about the best halal buffet dishes you could ever wish for at a very affordable price.

During the week, lunch for an adult will cost you £14 while it increases to £21 for dinner. Given just how many options are on the menu, I’d say this is a very affordable price considering that finding a delicious halal buffet in London it’s not the easiest thing to do. Let me start by talking about egg-fried rice, an amazing assortment of sushi, stir-fried vegetables, and aromatic crispy duck – one of my favorite dishes ever.

We can also talk about Thai prawn crackers, curry samosa, and onion rings among other delicacies offered by Aroma Buffet. The meat there is all halal, supplied by halal butchers. However, alcohol is served at Aroma Buffet. As such, I would still recommend calling beforehand to make sure the Halal status of the meat has not changed.

If you’ve been looking for a Halal Chinese buffet or halal sushi buffet in London, this might very well be the answer to all your cravings. Especially when you’ve been shopping all day long at Westfield Shepherd’s Bush.

Spice Village

Spice Village in Ilford is totally halal and alcohol-free and boasts a very affordable offer under £15 for adults. If you’ve been looking for the best halal Indian restaurant in London (aside from the article I have written a while back), that’s one that you will love. Spice Village mixes all the best halal buffet London foods you could wish for, from vegetarian Chinese cuisine to Indian Pakistani and Gujarati. All of these for £14.99 for an adult and £7.50 for a child under 9.

Since Spice Village in Ilford is an HMC certified Halal buffet you are sure that you’re going to eat delicious food, all halal, without fearing to eat or drink something that you shouldn’t be eating or drinking. The fact that the meat is slowly cooked to maintain its juiciness and tenderness is just a bonus for me, a person who loves smoked meats. Peri-peri wings, tikka, biryani… Only one of the best halal buffet restaurants in London – if you are ready to travel a bit. And if you’ve been looking for a halal restaurant in Tooting, Spice Village has a branch there.

Halal Buffet in London: Feast & Mishti

Feast and Mishti on Whitechapel Road is definitely a place you need to visit for a great halal buffet experience in London. I’ve already written about the best halal restaurants in East London. To be honest, I have kept Feast and Mishti for this specific article about the best halal buffet in London.

Not only do they offer a buffet based on incredible Bangladeshi food, but their authentic halal buffet is a meeting point for four people from every part of London. Delicious cuisine that relies on biryani dishes exclusive to Feast and Mishti.

If you ever find yourself around Tower Hamlets, Aldgate, or Bangla Town, visit this traditional Bangladeshi buffet restaurant. And if you ever need to just take away, that’s also possible at Feast and Mishti. Once again, all halal, all beautifully cooked in pans oiled with tradition and flavor. That alone makes it one of the best halal restaurants in London.

Best Halal Buffet London: Chaudhry’s Buffet Restaurant

Chaudry’s is one of the most famous halal buffet restaurants in London. Located in Edmonton, it focuses on Asian cuisine, Indian and Pakistani dishes full of flavor, and deliciousness. I know Edmonton is not the closest place to Central London, especially when it comes to “just” having dinner. However, Chaudry’s Buffet is one of the most affordable halal buffets in London. This means that for amazing barbecued meat and halal steak as well as authentic curries and sauces, an adult will pay just over £10 during the week for dinner.

I would say that’s quite a great deal for an all you can eat Halal buffet in London, right? If you were looking for a halal Chinese buffet and halal Thai food, this is definitely a place you should look at. It will make you feel at home, comfortable, and cozy, while you discover new types of amazing halal food in London.

Best Halal Buffet London: Royal Nawaab

Now when it comes to Royal Nawaab, this is most definitely the most expensive all you can eat Halal buffet in London has to offer. The entire selection will cost you £24.95 for anyone aged over 11. All the meat served at Royal Nawaab buffet restaurant is 100% halal. Once again, this is not one of the best halal restaurants in Central London, since Royal Nawaab is located in Ealing. They do also have another restaurant in Manchester and both are booming.

Their first restaurant in Ealing is a blast, and they will be opening a 450-seat restaurant in Ilford in summer 2022. That looks like a long time to wait. Yet, if you had seen the number of awards the restaurant has garnered and the quality of their dishes, you would understand the price and the wait both. If you’re looking for something like a Pakistani buffet in London that resembles halal fine dining in London, then Royal Nawaab will hold all the answers for you.

Very stylish and very trendy, kind of like a fine dining halal restaurant in London where you can choose to dress up and have the most romantic date with your partner.

Al Qasr Ilford

Al Qasr is another very affordable halal buffet restaurant in London. This one is located in Ilford and it caters to almost every dietary requirement from halal to vegetarian, and gluten-free. This is a self-service kind of buffet that would be perfect for a moment spent with your friends on your family.

What is really cool is that this halal restaurant in London focuses on Pakistani and Indian food only, from the simplest entree to delicious desserts. No alcohol is served in this restaurant, and you can sit back, relax and just try all the dishes you’ve always wanted to try – halal style.

Halal Buffet in London: JRC Global Buffet

JRC Global Buffet is, I feel, one of the most underrated halal restaurants in London. £10 for an adult during the week and £18 for dinner during the week, with the total amount, never going over £19 for the buffet selection. JRC Global Buffet is located in The Mall Shopping Centre in Wood Green.

I don’t know that I ever told you how crazy I am about Wood Green but I feel this is a very underdog area in London. It’s full of shops, independent bakeries and coffee shops, and cool libraries with a super cool vibe.

There are several branches of JRC Global Buffet in London that include Croydon, Ilford, Wembley, and Watford. JRC Global Buffet offers quite different recipes that range from French to Chinese, Mexican, or even Brazilian. Not everything is halal there and I thought it would be nice to highlight this for you.

However, every halal item in this buffet in London is labeled. Just so you know, there will be mostly halal Chinese food in this restaurant. Yet, you can also find other great vegetarian options, salads, pizza, and sushi that will make you forget that not all the selection is halal.

Nabrasa

Nabrasa Uxbridge offers scrumptious Brazilian barbecue meats. Just to be clear, this is an all you can eat Brazilian barbecue restaurant. There, you can get as much meat as you like… And almost all of them are halal. Nabrasa used to have a restaurant on Brick Lane but it has permanently closed.

That leaves the one in Uxbridge to feed us. I’ve always loved Brazilian food, and the fact that this is an almost completely halal restaurant in London is heartwarming.

You can definitely eat quite a few different meats at Nabrasa, including lamb, chicken, and beef. Although not all the meats are halal, you can double-check with the team so you know you’re eating something halal.

Khan’s

Now we’re going to be talking about one of the very best Halal buffet restaurants in London, in West London, actually: Khan’s. Located on Westbourne Grove, Khan’s enjoys all the shine of posh West London. If you’ve ever looked for amazing Indian food in London, you’ve probably come across Khan’s, at least on Google.

I’m always all about flavor and freshness and I cannot go without when I’m going out for a dinner. The cool thing about Khan’s is they mix freshness with tradition. For instance, if you’re looking for decadent halal butter chicken or a biriyani, it’s a spot to consider. Their also very smart location in Paddington makes it really easy to excess access. The halal buffet is served for £14.99 for an adult at lunch and £7.99 for children under 5. So yeah, Khan’s is a great restaurant to try if you’re looking for good halal meat in London.

Halal Buffet in London: Wok’s Cooking

To round up beautifully this list of the best Halal buffet restaurants in London, I thought I would make a nice surprise for you by talking about a halal Chinese buffet. This is a very cute place that allows you to order straight from the menu without ever having to get up from your table.

Wok’s Cooking is open every day from 3 pm to 11 pm, and 1 pm to 11 pm at weekends. It’s an HMC approved halal Chinese restaurant in London… but it is not in Central London. Once again, I’d say – if you find a great halal restaurant in London, just go. Does it really matter if you’re spending 10 mins on the Tube or 50? (I know it does matter, just trying to pump you up). In any case, Wok’s Cooking is fully halal. Whether you’re looking to eat amazing chicken, dim sum, or fried rice, you’re sure Wok’s Cooking will deliver.
