10 DELICIOUSLY Best Halal Burger Places in London

The time has come to tell you about the best halal burger places in London. A while back, I wrote about the best spots for a halal burger in Central London around Leicester Square, but I feel that The London Local was painfully missing a guide to the best halal burgers in London – as in, the whole of London, not just the center of the city. If you’re looking for a halal hamburger delivery in London, most of the places I’ll mention today also offer delivery and takeaway, and most are available on famous websites like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat, and so on.

I know that lots of people will still be waiting to know about Central London spots, so I’ve also included some of the best halal burger places in London Bridge. But if you’re in East London or some other areas in the city, you’ll be very happy to travel to one (or all!) of the halal burger restaurants you’ll be coming to know today.

10 DELICIOUSLY Best Halal Burger Places in London

Before we start, I’d like to highlight the fact that we’re quite lucky to find lots of amazing halal burger places in the city. Even if you’re just looking for a hamburger delivery in London, there are lots of great restaurants that cater to Muslim patrons.

I’d also like to remind you of the fact that I started the whole “halal restaurants in London” category as a guide for my younger sister, who does not live in London. The goal with the halal food places is for her to be able to enjoy much more than just fish or vegan dishes when she comes to visit me, so it’s quite a personal endeavor that I’ve started here.

Now that this is said, let’s get on with the best halal burgers in London!

Best Halal Burger Central London: Burgeri Carnaby

I’ve mentioned Burgeri Carnaby in my guide to the best halal burgers in Central London some time ago. Since it’s located right next to Carnaby Street, this might very well be one of the best halal restaurants in Central London. I love this whole area in London, with Regent Street located close by, and Carnaby Street being one of the most colorful streets in London.

Burgeri was launched in 2016, and in just a few years, it’s become one of the top halal burger places in London (probably in the whole world as well, but okay, let’s stick with London for now). Absolutely all the meats at Burgeri are halal, so that’s always a safe spot to visit if you’re looking for a halal burger near Oxford Street. Of course, there are other options there, but if you love halal wagyu beef, then you’ll absolutely have to visit Burgeri.

I’m still to write about the best halal restaurants around Oxford Circus, as that’s something quite a few of you have been wondering about. So for now, the delicious homemade sauces and fresh, juicy meat will be the perfect option for a pre-theater, lowkey dinner date. Or for a weekend stroll out in Central London. In any case, if you’re looking for a halal hamburger delivery in London, Burgeri does offer delivery as well. A must-try when you’re in the center!

Best Halal Burger Places in London: Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Next up, we’re going to talk about a chain, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, which is pretty famous in London. Actually, there are quite a few locations for GBK all around London and the UK. If you’re looking for strictly halal burger places in London, Gourmet Burger Kitchen won’t be it, since only the chicken there is halal.

However, the chicken burgers are really delicious, so that’s something to try if you’re around Cutty Sark, Greenwich, Shepherd’s Bush, or Saint Paul’s, for instance, if you’re looking for burger places in London Bridge.

Even if GBK is one of the most famous burger chains in London, I do feel it’s still quite underrated for some reason. The GBK restaurants are quite classic, and I always feel good when I visit. They do have other meats on the menu, but as I said, they’re not halal.

Also, only the panko chicken is prepared separately from the rest of the meats, so if that’s something you pay close attention to, be aware of it before visiting, or before ordering, since they do offer hamburger delivery in London as well. There are also some veggie burgers that are delicious, and I do urge you to try the milkshakes!

Best Halal Burger Places in London: Siirgista Bros

Now there’s this place I love, and if you’re ever looking for delicious halal hamburger delivery in London, then Siirgista Bros is going to become your new BFF. Since I now live in North Finchley (after residing in Mile End, Bethnal Green, Seven Sisters, and Greenwich), I am very lucky to have some of the best charity shops in London there, but also the amazing halal burgers at Siirgista Bros.

If you’re looking for a company to give your money to in exchange for – probably – the very best halal burgers in London, then that’s the place. Actually, Siirgista Bros puts so much effort in every bit and piece of their hamburgers that you feel like their life depends on it. The recipes are awesome, the sauces are fresh and smartly put-together, and to be fair, that’s just one of the very best halal restaurants in London, and that’s the end of it.

Okay, if you’re looking for halal food in Central London, then that’s not it. But honestly, even if I didn’t live here, I’d still travel to North Finchley just to get that burger fix. They do offer hamburger delivery, as I said, but there’s nothing like enjoying steamy, runny cheese and melty sauce in a burger in my opinion. If you like halal fried chicken and chicken burgers more generally, there are quite a few options there too.

Best Burger Places London Bridge: Honest Burgers (Vegan Burger)

Now for those who are looking for burger places in London Bridge, I’ve got Honest Burgers. Although Honest Burgers has some restaurants fully focused on vegan burgers and other bits, this one is not – I’m still mentioning it because if you’re feeling like eating a delicious burger that will blow your mind, that’s going to be the place.

The rest of the restaurants I’ll mention below are either fully or at least partially halal, but I think Honest Burgers are one of the burger places in London Bridge that definitely deserves some attention (not that it really needs it).

The first time I ever visited an Honest Burgers restaurant was in Soho with a vegan friend and at that time, I wasn’t even really that much interested in vegan burgers. Wanted my meat, you know. But when I tried the vegan burger recipes there, I was hooked long-term for real.

Honest Burgers is another one of those spots that offer hamburger delivery in London, and that’s one of the definitive best burger places in London Bridge. If you’re open to trying vegan burgers, do head to Tooley Street, close to some of the best cafes in London Bridge. Pro-tip, the rosemary chips are uber-delicious.

Best Halal Burger Places in London: Cristina’s Steak

Now, we’re straying from spots for a halal burger in Central London, but to be fair, Cristina’s Steak is one of the best halal restaurants in East London – if you’re ready to travel, you defo should try their burgers and halal Sunday Roast. Located in Barking, Cristina’s Steak has got to be one of the most rustic and family-oriented restaurants in London.

I know that when we travel to a new city or need to meet up with friends, more often than not we’re going to be heading Central. Yes, but. Even if there are some really delish burger places in London Bridge, Carnaby, and Aldgate East, one should not forget the suburbs, where some of the best halal restaurants in London have chosen to settle.

All of the meat served at Cristina’s Steak is halal, and the team has certificates available for anyone willing to see them. Do note that the restaurant does serve alcohol, so if you’re looking for an entirely halal restaurant in London, Cristina’s is not it.

Aside from that, you can taste the most delicious halal burgers in London there, with the Smashed Burger being one of the cheapest, and my favorite options there – gooey, juicy, the ingredients blend with each other and give off a truly American burger vibe.

By the way, if you love fried chicken and have loved to discover my guide to the best halal fried chicken in London, then you’ll be happy to know that Cristina’s has one of the best halal chicken burgers in London too. Really. You need to try that one ASAP if you’re as crazy as me when it comes to chicken. And if you’re looking for a hamburger delivery in London, Cristina’s is available on platforms like UberEats, Just Eat, and Deliveroo.

Halal Burgers in London: Band of Burgers

I’ve mentioned Band of Burgers on The London Local in the past – if you’ve been looking for the best halal sushi in London, then there’s the Sushi Bar inside the Brick Lane Band of Burgers.

I love Brick Lane, and back when I was living in Bethnal Green, I would be there all the time. There are lots of amazing things to do in Brick Lane, and one of them is to pay a visit to Band of Burgers if you’re looking for halal burger places in London.

The brand has a few restaurants all around town, including Southgate, Walthamstow, and Camden. I don’t know how to highlight the amazing fact that Band of Burgers uses only the freshest and top-notch ingredients. That goes from staples like lettuce, organic cheese, and onions to the 35-day aged Angus and Wagyu beef that are available as a hamburger delivery in London as well.

If you’ve been looking for a soft and chewy halal burger in Central London, just go a lil’ bit more East, and really dive into the Band of Burgers spirit. Whether you’re with friends or just looking to take out your other half, the quality of these burgers will always make them a good reason to travel to Brick Lane.

Best Halal Burger Places in London: Stax Diner

I’ve mentioned Stax Diner quite a few times on The London Local, as it’s in my opinion one of the best halal restaurants around Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Carnaby Street. If you’ve been looking for the best halal burger places in London, bing bing, this is it. It’s one of those heavily American-themed restaurants and everything from the atmosphere to the delicious gooeyness of the ingredients will make you fall in love with Stax Diner.

All the meats there are halal, and like Cristina’s Steak in Barking, they do serve alcohol, so note this before you book or make an order for hamburger delivery in London. Since Stax Diner is located in Central London, you might have to book beforehand as the seating space is a bit limited – especially if you’re looking to visit on a Saturday or on a Sunday.

In terms of burgers, they have quite the offer, but they also do have some of the most amazing halal fried chicken burgers in London. I guess how delicious they are and how central they are, makes up for a big part of the price, and you can count over £10 for a burger. Then again, I do think they’re worth every penny, and if you’re onto some of the best halal burger places in London, I don’t think you can go wrong with Stax Diner.

Also, if you’re down to discover halal breakfast places in London, then their chicken and waffles might really be of interest to you. All in all, and since I’m so crazy about fried chicken, I would urge you to try their buttermilk fried chicken – one of the very best things in the whole wide world.

Halal Burgers in London: Holy Smokes BBQ

Now, another one of the halal restaurants that offer delicious hamburger delivery in London would be Holy Smokes BBQ, that’s also one of the most underrated halal burger places in London in my opinion. Located in Bow, just after Bethnal Green and Mile End on the Central Line, Holy Smokes BBQ offers some really delicious burgers.

And I’m talking about really barbecued brisket beef, buns that make the world go around, and fries that you can top with jerk or cheese and enjoy until the very last crumb begs you to leave it alone. No joke.

I’m always looking forward to trying new halal burger places in London, and that’s one I was most happy to try, especially when you see how much effort the team at Holy Smokes BBQ puts into selecting their ingredients and putting them together. Now, I also know it can be hard to find halal ribs in London, so you can rest assured that Holy Smokes BBQ has some of the best.

The price point is quite similar to other halal burger places in London I’m mentioning in this guide, so you can definitely bring your other half there for a lowkey romantic date. Of course, if you were looking for burger places in London Bridge, we’re quite far, but not that much, so you can take a look around at some of the most famous landmarks in London, then hop on the Tube (or even bus 25) and head on towards Mile End and Bow for some of the coolest halal burgers in London.

Best Halal Burger Places in London: Fat Boyz Diner

Next up, you’ve got another one of the most underrated halal burger places in London – Fat Boyz Diner. Opened by three guys who had traveled through the USA and wanted to bring home that American vibe, Fat Boyz Diner offers some of the gooiest, chewy, cheesy, juicy halal burgers in London – and that’s a fact.

The upside is that it’s also one of the most affordable halal restaurants in London, with some burgers costing half what some others on this list will set you back. Again, if you’re looking for the best halal food in Central London, that won’t be it, since Fat Boyz Diner is located in E7 just a few minutes off Forest Gate station. But if you’re down to take the Tube or the bus for just a little bit, you’re going to have one of the best halal dining experiences in London ever.

They do offer hamburger delivery in London, so there’s that, and the mix of ingredients, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, gooey cheese, caramelized onions… is life. I would say that you can make it a solo experience, but for a lowkey romantic dinner before heading to the cinema on a weekday night, Fat Boyz Diner would be a really cool opportunity to bond with your other half or your whole family, actually.

Halal Burgers in London: Burger UK

Burger UK is one of the easiest burger places in London, as it’s located in Camden, and is super easily accessible from all over town. If you’re looking for a hamburger delivery in London, that’s also one of the easiest burger places to get your junk-food fix. I wrote about Burger UK in The London Local guide to the best halal fried chicken in London, and again, it needs to be highlighted for its delicious food.

I’m talking about some delicious free-range halal meat, fresh fries, with precious, tasty sauces. I think the sauce makes up for a lot in any kind of dish, and if you get the chance, do try their truffle sauce – I promise you’ve never tried anything like that.

Surely, if you can’t go, get yourself their hamburger delivery around London – Burger UK is one of those places you really don’t want to miss out on when you’re in town. And again – if you’re onto halal fried chicken at some point, you’ll want to try their crispy, crunchy wings.

10 DELICIOUSLY Best Halal Burger Places in London

So there you have them, the best halal burger places in London. I’ve tried to tell you about all my favorites, and places that really have something that rings another bell when you visit. I think it’s always interesting to find delicious burger places in London Bridge, Carnaby Street, and even halal restaurants all the way to Barking that really work hard on their recipes.

And more importantly, I love being able to feel the hard work that a restaurant infuses into each of its recipes. As I said, if you’re looking for a hamburger delivery in London, most of these restaurants offer that.

So mark down those amazing halal burger places in London for when you’re with your other half, family, or friends and just want to enjoy the day. All of them have been around for quite some time, and although they’re not always cheap halal restaurants, they do offer some of the most delicious food in London. Melty cheese, juicy steaks, and even some really great plant-based burgers at places like Honest Burgers. Trust.

Now, if you’d rather eat something else, I’ve taken care of a few other halal food guides in London on The London Local that you might love to discover:

Until next time!

PS. Did you know there are some amazing halal Michelin star restaurants in London? Yes, there are!
